Valentin's determined to keep his partner. |
[Introduction]
"I understand. You know I can't read or even hear your thoughts consuming me with your desires anymore. My sweet, just tell me what you want." He says kneeling down, on both knees. He grips my hands firmly while his eyes pierced into mine locking our heads together. He does this often. Pleading me to stay, I mean. He shook his head in denial. He had made it known who I was to him, and how he viewed me. "Valentin, you only view me as someone below you. You don't present yourself as someone who knows how to do otherwise. It's almost as if you don-" He stopped me as I tried to speak the truth of one of many wrongs, he's done to me. As I try to speak his clawed hand hovered over my mouth in anger wanting to stop me "You know I can't, and You know that...I do." "Do what" I followed after "Please." As some time passed, he dropped back down and lowered his held whilst holding our hands together. I paused and bit my lip, letting the smirk grow. I rubbed his head and combed through his hair gently with one hand. God, I love when he goes weak for me like this. I shouldn't have to tell him what I want. Before turning me, before becoming each other's, there weren't any surprises. Each time he guessed what I was thinking, what I wanted, what I needed...It made me think of how dull our relationships future might be. He had been turned for so long he couldn't remember what it was like for mortals. How exciting what not knowing came next was. |
