I was lost on vacation and he found me and brought me back home.
As he turned and walked away, I wondered if I'd ever see him again. We'd gone on some great adventures together, though it all started back when I was lost on vacation. I thought I wouldn't make it back home on time. I would miss my flight. We ran into each other. Then he tried to say that he was sorry in a different language. I couldn't understand him. I didn't speak the language.

"Excuse me? I don't understand you," I spoke up, alerting him that I didn't speak his language.

"Oh, you're excused. I'm sorry. So, you must be a tourist around here? This isn't the common language to speak in these parts," he said. "My name is Jeff."

"Oh, that's okay. I'm Ruwth. I'm a bit lost here and trying to find my way back. It's a quarter til seven and I missed my ride."

"So you need a lift. I could give you a lift. Where were you staying?"

"Side Wind hotel by Dragon Egg Hatchery. Oh that is a site to see."

"I'll bring you there alright. I haven't been out to the hatchery yet. That will be an adventure to see."

So Jeff and I wandered around until we made it to the Dragon Egg Hatchery. I couldn't believe my eyes. There were eggs sitting just outside of the entrance! I went and picked up a blue one. It started humming in the palm of my hand! Then someone came out and greeted us.

"Oh, so it looks like you won the ice dragon! Let's see if that fellow next to you can win the fire dragon.Go on and pick up the red egg," the spokesman said and nodded toward Jeff.

Jeff picked up the red egg and it started humming. Then Jeff and I collapsed hands together and a spark of light appeared above our hands. I was amazed. It was dragon magic. Only those who impresses dragons could do such things and together with Jeff I could do even more things. The question was how to use it and what were the magic's limitations? I felt myself growing a little tired from the encounter and realized that could be a side effect. Magic must be used wisely or else I would grow unconscious. I noticed he felt the same way.

"This is normal for beginners. You must learn to strengthen yourselves to use magic frequently. It can be done. Magic drains your energy level but not if you are strong enough. You are blessed with ice and fire magic. They compliment each other. Not one dominate the other. You will find the missing pair inside. Take these eggs with you. They will tell you what to do. So you are tourists here, we will make special arrangements for you to be able to bring these eggs with you back to your country." The spokesman rubbed his hair with his hands.

"Thank you! I never imagined a day I would be able to be a partner with a dragon," I said.

"I agree," Jeff responded after me.

Together we went in and went to the main area. There was the same set of eggs as outside. A man motioned for us to grab our color to complete the missing pair and suddenly, the eggs hatched. Mine was blue and white and Jeff's was red and orange. The scales glimmered in the light. Then the man motioned for us to pay close attention to what he had to say.

"Congratulations beholder of ice and fire dragons! You know they are partners for the rest of your life. Your country had been contacted and we will be taking you home on real adult dragons specialized for passengers. First thing to know about them is that the ice dragon holds the power of winter and the fire dragon holds the power of summer. If you meet together they hold power over spring and fall respectively. Pay attention to these instructions as they will guide you in your future adventures. For now you two must go home. There someone will meet you for further instructions." The man instructed.
