I am an OC Cowgirl

I bet you are wondering why do I call myself an "O-C cowgirl"..It is due to my somewhat solitary life,and how I try to navigate it. I live alone ,mostly by choice. The O-C at the beginning ,signifies the beliefs that I carry with me... O is for Orthodox,and C ,for Christian. I've known the Faith for a relatively short time,and I still am learning from it,and will do so til my earthly journey's end.

When I first turned at this road,and chose to follow, I didn't realize that it was a road 'less-traveled'. That is to say :"Narrow is the gate ,to Salvation",while "many roads lead to Perdition"....I saw Orthodox Christianity in a "sign"[to me]as something curious,unknown even. I was a child when I first saw that 'sign'.

Many decades would pass,with me trying to figure out in life ,a woman like myself would fit..I also have hydrocephalus, it has been a life-long companion of mine. I have been 'normalized' for the most part,but every now and then,I have a 'hiccup'(episode)...the behaviors indicate a problem,but are not the underlying issue, increased pressure in my head ,is.After that,it's akin to a domino-effect...one domino pushes on another ,and then the steady falling of the rest of the dominoes ....


The two things mentioned,my Faith,and hydrocephalus,are important to know about me ...one keeps me rooted in the Faith ,while the other reminds me that I can survive ,so long as I remember Who has carried me through it!!
