36 line poem about a birthday party in a graveyard.
In a cemetery's somber shade, a tale unfolds,
Where tombstones whispered secrets, stories untold.
On a moonlit night, 'neath a starry array,
A 23rd birthday party in the graveyard's decay.

Beneath the ancient oaks, they gathered her crew,
For Sarah, the birthday girl, whose heart was so true.
Her fascination with ghosts, a love they all shared,
In this spectral realm, where the brave only dared.

But why a cemetery for such a grand celebration?
A place of death and darkness, a peculiar foundation.
A murder mystery held tight grip on all their minds,
A century-old betrayal, they vowed to unwind.

Amidst flickering candles, shadows danced in delight,
As Sarah's friends gathered 'round, faces alight.
They toasted to her youth, to life, and to death,
In a place where souls' echoes took their last breath.

With lanterns in hand, they began their grand quest,
To unravel a murder that had never found rest.
The ghostly apparitions, who whispered in flight,
Guided the party-goers through the eerie night.

The tombstones held secrets, inscriptions of dread,
Clues from the past, through which they'd be led.
They unlocked the cemetery's many squeaky old gates,
They pieced together stories of loves and of hates.

In the heart of the graveyard, an old crypt stood tall,
Where a restless spirit beckoned, its voice a faint call.
With trembling hands, they uncovered the truth,
A murderer's confession, a revelation, forsooth!

As the clock struck midnight, the spirits drew near,
Their presence so vivid, their stories so clear.
Sarah's 23rd birthday, a night to remember,
In the cemetery's fire pit, they kindled an ember.

With the mystery solved, and the spirits at ease,
They departed the graveyard, opportunity seized.
But the memories lingered, like the phantoms they'd met,
Of the birthday party in a cemetery, they'd never forget.
