Zoomer Snake

         "This is the dawning of the age of Aquarius, the age of Aquarius. A-quar-i-us."

         "Nanna! What is that racket?"

         "Excuse me? I am singing. Are you suggesting I can't? Listen. A-quar-i-us."

         "Please Nanna. Can't we try something else? You know a different song."

         "Sure. What do you have in mind? Sirius offers many choices. Just punch in a number."

         "I know, but the same stuff plays over and over. What about my phone?"

         "I dunno. Can you? I mean how would I hear it? You wear headphones, right? Don't we want the car's speakers?"

         "Oh Nanna."

         "Are you rolling your eyes at me? I can't see. Mine are on the road ahead."

         "Am I not a Zoomer?"

         "I dunno. Are you? What's that?"

         "Nanna! You gotta know that. Zoomer means I'm Generation Z. It means I was born into internet access and I know my way around devices. My cell phone is a device."

         "Okay if you say so. I have a cellular device too, Miss Zoomie. Granted, I don't save any music, excuse me, tunes on it. How do we hear your music?"

         " I haven't tried it in your new car. Is it the sync button?"

         "Sounds like the right idea. I say go for it."

         "Urg! It's not working! Why not?"

         "Try again. I do know my phone is connected as the primary one for hands-free calls. It's a long drive. You'll figure it out."

         "Yay! I've got it. See? My tunes are now set to play over the car's radio. I want you to hear this."

         "Oh, I know this one. I'll sing along, all right?"

         "You do? Huh. Here's another one."

         "Not bad. Kinda catchy. I like having my own personal DJ. Wait. Did I just hear snake?"

         "What? I think so. Why?"

         "Remember our trip to the museum when we learned about the Chinese zodiac? If I recall correctly , you're a snake."

         "Oh ya. So, I'm Year of the Snake? I don't really like snakes. Yuck! The eyes are kinda creepy. What are you?"

         "Me? I'm a pig. Not everyone can say that. I guess we don't get to choose. Imagine a snake and a pig together on a road trip. What else you got Snake girl?"
