Muddy Boots

As the raindrops filled the sky and the clouds got thicker, muddy puddles started to form and a hazy rain started to smother the trees and now down to the undergrowth. As they walked the same path together they often walked, there legs grew weary and now her black rubber boots were becoming unbearably heavy and squelchy, her French style knitted beanie was uncomfortably warm but she knew home wasn't far away now as her loveable natured friend walked by her side.
