Starlight
The tree limbs sway with graceful ease
upon the wind's ballet.
Then tempting us to follow it,
the wind just slips away.
The sun then comes to wake the morn
and dry the tears of dew.
for twilight falls just once a day
as sunset fills the view.
A bright full moon will rise above
the outline of a pine.
Then cut beneath the Milky Way
where starry skies entwine.
So now the wind has come again
to mingle with the night
and silent streams will shine below
like ribbons of starlight.
