Capi the caterpillar went for a stroll,
Through the small meadow, to a garden knoll.
The flowers were brightly colored, refreshed by gentle rain.
The stones in the muddy path, took people down to lover's lane.
He climbed a verdant stem, as the plant began to sway.
And began his home of refuge, from birds who'd seek a pray.
As time for sleep was starting, he closed his tiny eyes.
To the music of the garden, that was the sweetest of lullabies.
He awakened in a morning, to a ray of golden sun.
And crawled onto the limb and saw what sleep had done.
Then Capi who went to sleep so long ago,
Was a butterfly who was all aglow.
