Chapter 1

Jade
Convulsing I laid back heavily into my pillows panting softly. Sitting up I threw the sheets from around my legs black waves falling all around my face. It had been a long night and I'd been so keyed up I couldn't help but to relieve some of the pressure.
"Fuck." I groaned looking at the clock, it was only three in the morning leaving me more time to ponder rather than sleep. Tomorrow would be hell if I spent it tired but to hell with it I thought. Jumping up I yanked off my pajama pants and panties to get a fresh pair. Looking down I stared at the lacy catastrophe of my underwear. Twisted up and moist stained from my recent activities. My face reddened. I was so pathetic. So desperate for a physical connection, wishing that someone would find me attractive enough to touch me and give me that release that I feigned for. Shrugging my doubtful thoughts off I threw the pants and underwear in the hamper, pulled on a fresh set, and made my way downstairs to the kitchen.
Growing up my father had always told me not to go near the "special cabinet". He was reluctant to tell me anything after he had caught me peeking around getting close to his stash.
"Daddy has things he likes and they aren't for little children. This cabinet is not to be opened at all understand Jade?"
"What's in the cabinet daddy?"
"My special juice. Do you know how you like apple juice? "
"I love apple juice! "
"Daddy has his own and it can't be touched by little girl's end of discussion let's get you ready for school."
I smirked opening the cabinet grateful that it did not squeak. Bringing the bottle back to my room I sat on the floor lotus style. Alcohol always had a special place in my heart. Being my first friend, the only one to comfort me when my mother died, my escape, the burn in my chest had me feeling so twisted I was in another world. I uncapped it and poured it into a cup my mouth watering at the sight and smell. I downed the first cup no problem soon a second and a third had me feeling tipped and bold. Struggling I grabbed my bed sheets getting off of the floor. A few taps on my phone and Fever by the Black Keys began to play and I sang along rattling out the words rasping in the right places. I always felt like another person when I drank. Sexy, bold, unstoppable I ran my hands up my body as I sang gripping my long black disheveled hair. With a slow lean I sung out the chorus dropping to my knees with my hands in the carpet.
"Jade? " A familiar voice floated above the music.
I slung my head around feeling the room spin. In the doorway my father stood his striking black eyes piercing mine.
"Do you have any idea what time it is young lady? "
"I cou- couldn't sleep." I looked down feeling stupid ready for his anger once he figured out I was drunk.
"I'm sorry." I hurried trying to beat him to the punch.
"Get some rest Jade. You have a long day of packing. I expect that when I leave this room there will be silence throughout the remainder of the night."
I simply nodded sharply my head feeling heavy. He nodded back and closed my door leaving me to myself. I stood up and plopped on the bed the cold pillows and sheets soothing my heated skin. I quickly fell into a deep sleep.

The sun lay hot on my bare back caressing my skin with heat. I groggily lifted my head out the fluffy white pillows. Hair hung over my eyes and tickled my nose.
I looked around the room and sat up staring into the empty space. This is it, I thought to myself. I groaned and looked down. I was hard. Propping myself up I reached under the blanket and gripped myself. Internally shuddering because it felt so good. Starting at a slow pace I closed my eyes but it became too much and I found myself going faster jerking my hips upward whenever there were jolts of pleasure. Finishing myself I clenched my eyes shut feeling nothing but euphoria. Mouth open in pleasure I grunted out.
"Fuck. " Feeling all my frustration foam over my knuckles. I opened my eyes feeling cleansed. Everything was so much brighter, so much clearer I felt a lazy smile spread across my face and threw my head back into the pillows letting the post orgasmic high settle in.
A quick rap on the door and my mother came walking in. I jumped staring wide eyed at her.
"What's the matter sweetheart?" she questioned while striding across my room.
"No! I um. I just woke up. I need a minute mom please?" I hurried out anything to get her out my room. Her forehead creased in clear concern but she left the room after setting laundry on the end of my bed.
Pushing the hair out of my face I got out of bed and made my way to the bathroom. Despite the morning boost worry seemed to cloud my mind. Tomorrow would be the day I started my senior year at Hollywood Arts. I was glad that I would be seeing all my friends again but the events that ended last year had me nervous to step foot back into the school. Looking into the mirror I mentally groaned touching the eye bags that had spawned while I was up too late worrying. I quickly washed and brushed my teeth then threw on a shirt to head down stairs to eat.

Jade

Sitting at the table in the morning was always a quiet event at the West house. I picked at my eggs staring into my plate unsure of what to say as I was sure he knew I took one of his bottles last night.
"Not very hungry huh?" I snapped my eyes up to find my father staring bullets into my face.
"Just thinking." I said quietly lowering my head again. I continued talking to relieve some of the tension.
"I'm really excited about this school." He set his newspaper on the table and leaned forward.
"Jade I think you are....very talented. I'm not always around to tell you that but I am now. I heard you sing last night and I was at a loss for words. You have a gift and I have to acknowledge that. I'm glad you're getting to do something you love Jade. Just don't forget to call your old man when you get there." With that he picked up his newspaper and continued reading.
I stood up grabbing my plate and raking it into the trash, waiting until I was facing away from him to talk.
"Thanks dad. I'll make sure to call." My voice breaking on call and a lump forming in my throat. When I turned around I was met with a hard frame and two strong arms holding me together as I proceeded to break apart. I had never been good at expressing my emotions. They would just flare up in an uncontrollable wave and wash me over. Get it together pussy. I pushed everything to the back of my mind and lifted my head off his shoulder untangling myself from this parental grasp and made my way back upstairs to pack.
"I don't have anything to wear!" I yelled into the closet packed with clothes. It was a void. Black was my color. It kept me warm, safe. It sucked my in and washed me out and gave me the feeling that I loved. I began stuffing my clothes into a large black suitcase. My hair products and makeup were in a smaller black duffel bag. Soon enough my closet looked empty leaving me with scraps of color on the ground. Gross. I picked up a dark green pleated skirt and fingered the hem. I could pull this off if I wanted to. I stuffed it in an empty compartment in my suitcase. I was ready to go.

Beck

I was ready to leave and it excited me but also frightened me. What would happen this year? I raked my hand through my hair in frustration. Fuck.
"Beck! Sweetheart we have to get going." My mom called from the front door.
Let it begin.
