Y'know it's like every time I rhyme
I gotta sit down and take some time
to turn my brain on a dime
because my words are sour as a lime
cuz today honesty is just another crime
and all I catch is nothing but grime.

I don't wanna look like a tool
but every day you made me a fool
yet I thought we were cool
and it's like lookin through wool
but I'll take you back to school
so you can be taught the number one rule.

Treat others how you'd like to be treated
another history lesson in my life gone and repeated.
Images of improvement slipping away
things are better staying that way
cuz I can live with being alone today.

I've made up my mind on a whole new level
but that doesnt mean I made a deal with the devil.
It's like you can't even see me in the mirror
but in due time things will get a little clearer
cuz in the end I don't want people to fear her.

It's time we all go and act our age
and stop acting like it's a war we wage
because we're all human beings on this planet
and we should treat each other well like we plan it.
