More excellent

Audacity. Boldness. Strength and vitality. Impatient, impertinent, and insistent, our search for something better goes on. We know there's something, or someone that will take us to a better place, show us a more perfect way. In fact, the apostle Paul wrote " And yet I will show you a most excellent way." *

What is this most excellent way? It is the way of love. Love is one of the central things we must grasp if we attempt to understand God. Love, apart from God, doesn't exist. That's right, love doesn't exist without God. He embodies love and cannot help but share it with us. Before we existed God loved us, and continues to love us today. Creating us gives Him joy, and He wants us to share in that joy by knowing His love. Before we existed God loved us, and continues to love us today. Without His transformative, urgent, ceaseless love, we are empty; we cannot give love without receiving it first. The apostle John states "We love because He first loved us." **
