Cathrine ran as fast as she could in those tight jeans. She didn’t see anything, didn’t hear anything, but she knew it would come. She barreled through the double oak doors in her way, clipping her shoulder hard. She held her shoulder and tried to not focus on the pain. Outside she paused long enough to see how she could escape, or at least where she could hide. Gunfire made her decide faster. With a small skip she was headed for the tree line across the vast field. A bullet hit the ground right in front of her and she screamed out. She threw her hands over her head and kept running. She couldn't bear to even glance back; she knew once she made it to the trees she would never come back to Grayson alive. The bullets began to reign down around her and she picked up her speed.
