The heavens known as the Atmos. The Atmos are the spaces inbetween the dividing planes of the sky that reach out to touch outer space. Each inhabited amos is a part of cloud project. Cloud project strives to reach space. the millennia long expedition to reach the last Atmos layer, heaven's atmos or the where atmos meets the void of outer space, is currently being tackle by the famous explorers known as cloud's 9. Cloud's 9 are explorers supported by cloud project. they have an adaptable and an cloud nine airship to pilot. these airship captains search the myriad of atmos layers holding monstrosities, godlike storms, and dimensional pirates, as well as the mysterious adaptables. The adabtables are theorized as the core elements uniquely found to an Atmos layer. They allow the holder to obtain the supernatural powers characteristic to the individual atmos's environment. each atmos is known to only contain a maximum of 15 unique characteristic adaptables. .The only tether keeping his existence from crumbling into the radiation soaked abyss of this beneath is the column. The column is the only structure that ever had reached the Bile Smog, the lowest layer of the atmos. the column is a pillar, shaded a putrid vomit like green from the settling of the highest radiation clouds. The outside structure is covered as such that you would believe that it truly was god's vomited disgust of mankind's sins that coats this last megalithic structure, the old world so luckily erected. 80 miles in diameter, the top of the column is home to the lowest of the low, the so called scum of humanity's forsaken Atmos level, the unlucky residents of the Bile Smog. These forsaken and forgotten are the necessary laborers that work the maintaining of the tether's that connect every platform, airship refueling station, artificial farm, and quite simply the lives of the struggling survivors to the endless Atmos levels being explored. The Bile smog is the hopeless' home, where the unfortunate burdened with the crippling weight of desperation are forced with the reality that acceptance of their slave like wages handed to them for their strenuous labors is but their bad hand in God's sick poker game and the best they can achieve in such a miserable existence. They accept their burden for the good of the famous explorers of the atmos, adventurers striving to find heaven's atmos, the ending of the atmos, the ending of mankind's suffering, the last layer of the atmos. these famous explorers have no understanding of the humble folk sitting back, receiving the discriminatory, inhumane treatment for the good of the world. the downtrodden lives are unnoticed by the glamorous explorers, yet these pioneers are being held up by the acceptance that the bile smog men and women cling to. the acceptance of being humankinds lifeline, mankind's last hope, unappreciated, overworked, discriminated, and most of all the acceptance that despair, responsibility, and a bad roll of the dice has left them withought the freedom to dream, abandoning the bile smog in a cloud of radiation, in a crumbling column, and a place where a child's aspirations go to die. The fabulous life of an atmos explorer is for the rich. The bile smog is for the poor. sixteen year old Glint will be the savior of the bile smog for he is the only resident to imagine that he could achieve locating heaven's atmos as the only bile smog explorer. he is Bile Smog's last of the hopeful
