"You're pregnant?" My friend, Jonah, stared at me as if I had just said 'I can't act' I bit my lip down "Yes" I said and quickly said "But only a few months. I can still play in 'Jersey Boys'" I was hoping he would let me play in it. Jonah shook his head. If only this was T.V. I could do a musical montage and get past this. But it wasn't T.V. And the boy only a few months younger than me was looking at me like I was lying. I guess it did sound a little crazy. The good church-going girl was pregnant. Well to make a long story short I didn't get to keep my part in 'Jersey Boys'. Over the months my stomach got bigger and I got hungrier, and moodier. My friends (except for a handful) all left me or teased me. Ten that fateful day came when I gave birth. I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. As te months went by I had decided to give her Biblical name. I had chosen one off a woman who had been given a second chance time and time again. I named my daughter Gomer. Note: This is my second flash fiction.
