                   “It's open! Come on in!”

         Kim opened the door to her friend's house and stepped inside. A warm summer breeze followed her across the threshold.  It tousled her short green colored hair. Being the beginning of the warmer season, Kim had dressed light and cute. Kelly laughed, “Yep! She kisses them! Then, the person that is kissed also becomes a mermaid. The previous mermaid goes to the side of the pool and does her best to help the new mermaid catch her prey by blocking the people trying to swim away. The game ends when everyone in the pool is a mermaid!”


“Awesome!” Said Kim. “How do we pick who is the first mermaid?”

Kelly laughed, “I say the bustiest goes first! So Amy.”

         All of the girls dispersed to the edge of the pool while Amy moved to the center.
“Ready. Get set. GO!”

Amy dove under the water and swam straight for Kim. She screamed and started swimming toward Kelly. Kelly immediately started pushing her towards the oncoming mermaid Amy. “Anything goes!” She laughed.

         Right before Amy was upon her, Kim grabbed Kelly by the wrists and spun both of them around, putting the other girl right into Amy's reach. Kelly yelped in surprise as Amy encircled her waist with her arms and pulled her under. Kim watched excited as the girl's lips were forced onto Amy's. After a few seconds, she released her and both girls returned to the surface. Kelly turned to face Kim with a wicked smile on her face. “I'm gonna get you good for that!” She dove under the submerged and made a B line for Kim.

         Kim had already started swimming, trying to employ the same tactic by getting close to Julia.
