Story about two people, adult theme but will take a while to get there.
Those 'few more questions' turned into a 'few more questions' and then into 'a few more'. Every time I asked a question, she had a smart articulate answer ready, and she had an answer for everyone that I asked. By the time the interview was over it was 1645, and my boss was expecting an answer by 1800.

"Excuse me, Kate, but my boss is expecting an answer to a question. That he asked me in the beginning of the week, and he needs an answer at the end of the day." In stand up and leave. As I leave my office, and head towards the elevator I can feel her sharp soul piercing green eyes following me.

After a long ride( my 'shoebox' is on the 3rd floor, and my boss's is on the 47th). I get out, walk past the conference room, and ask his assistant if I can see him. I waited for a few minutes.

"Go on in Aden," his assistant says.

"Thank you, Ms. Goodwin."

"Good Luck."

"Hmm?"

"Nothing, nevermind."

"...?" I give her a puzzled look as I walk up towards the large wooden door.

I tap lightly (more like a full fledged knock), then let myself in, the office is huge. When you first step in the office you noticed that it has two rooms, the first is the office, while the second is a mini-apartment. The office itself has this huge bookshelf that covers the whole right wall, in the corner of this wall sits a 42" flat screen TV. In the middle of the room sits his desk, real oak by the way, two chairs sit in front of this desk. And if you are in his position you can turn around to see a gorgeous view of downtown LA. The right left side if the room you see a wooden sliding door, and if it was open you could see the mini-apartment.

My boss is Mr. John Spencer, the Vice President of Marketing at Apex International, he has been here for years. Some people I've heard have called him 'the Devil in a Pinstripe Suit'. I heard a rumor, but its hard to believe and it doesn't really make any sense either, that people don't quit here that they just disappear into the the basement and to never be heard from again. I really can't say because I don't know him yet. I respect his position to say at the least.

"Yes, Aden, what is it," he says dismissive, not even looking at me.

"Sir, you wanted me to inform you when I have hired my assistant, so I'm here."

"Okay," he says offhandedly, then he looks at me with a stern expression, "I expect next week for you to start pulling your weight around here and not fooling around with her okay?"

"Sir, I would never...," and I wouldn't.

"Aden, you have a dirty mind, what I mean is, let her learn in her own, if messes up fire her."

"Yes, Sir," I say. I guess, I feel like a should be saluting or something. I say to myself.

"Dismissed."

"Sir." I say as I spin on my heels and march out the door.
