Too spoiled to be grateful? Enjoy your doom!

I'm a spoiled little lady, requiring the best,
Finding a new home put that to the test.
My man gave me options, choices and deeds.
None of them, ever! would fit my needs.

Pouting, I held my sweet charms from he.
In turn he slipped arsenic into my tea.
At first it had such a lovely bouquet;
Prince of Wales, Jasmine, perhaps Earl Grey?

Once the initial sprinkle settled-in,
He stated the facts, detesting my sin.
His cold showers taken, 'cause I wouldn't play,
Spawned all the stress he suffered this day.

He glared at me; his deed confessed.
Begging mercy, saying "it's all for the best."
My heart then quickened and took a leap;
Why did I choose a lover so cheap?

I requested a house with a manicured lawn,
Not shanties surrounded in a woodland's thorn.
But my heart had been void, so vile and rude;
'Twas my behavior inducing his act so crude!

Thus, I sit here weakly, in my Windsor chair,
Awaiting angelic choirs to float me there;
To the great unknown where castles gleam,
Perhaps have a cottage by a stream.

I saw my life flashing before my eyes;
Didn't think he had the wits, to cause my demise.
Clutching my breast, I release a last breath.
He has done the deed - he has caused my death!

I'll go like a lady, What else could I do?
I'll learn to enjoy, my tomb with a view.
