-God- by Keaton Foster God What do you do Are you true Do you care How do you dare Are you up there High Beyond those clouds Beyond this reality Will I ever really know Will it make any difference Frightening isn’t it My heart beats These lungs breathe This tortured mind Is far beyond free Free of you that is God Do you understand Could you ever Am I just one Or am I closer to none What an idea Being less then The least possible Will you punish me Correction Will you do it again Will you judge me Of course you will Expecting less is a fool’s game God Be careful who you point That crooked finger at Killer be kind Should be your motto You should scream it from above Rain it down upon your kind Let them know That you mean only business Your terms, unbreakable Your self-imposed rights Undeniable and unquestionable There is no pathway With regard to reproach Untouchable and then some God As always Kick ass and take names Keep a detailed list Who will be dammed And who is not God Are you aware Is all that is being said Clear Do you know what to do And are you prepared to do it Or are you like me A lost wolf amongst sheep Someday before too long Instead of being lost We might seek direction And once it is given We will bite the hand Of the ones that gave it God Is that where you are Or should I ask Who you are… God Written by Keaton Foster Copyright © 2013 |
