With her first kiss taken in the moment, Kotomi finally realizes how much she loves Deichi |
Cold rain dripped from the edge of the supermarket roof. I looked down slowly at my gray converse and then up to the road. Cars zipped past, splashing and aero-plaining over the puddles. Pedestrians lined up at the cross walk, glasses on, umbrellas up, coffee in their hands. Blinking, I quickly dug through my satchel and retrieved my flower patterned umbrella. I prepared to open it when i heard a voice. "Kotomi!" The voice remarked happily. I quickly spun on my toes to see who had called my name. My hair flung around with my body and I landed on both my heels, the satchel popped quickly from my hip and slapped back down. "Yes?" I said, thinking it was probably Tenshi, Hakurisa, or Akuma. My breath was stolen, as I finally saw who was standing there. I looked up to take in the body standing before me. "Oh....Hi..Deichi" I could barely speak. Before me, stood the same guy who was always on my mind; my neighbor, my best friend, the boy I grew up with, and my first love. But to get to the point, he stood before me, in the nicest pair of slacks and a simple black tee. He normally wore his stupid circus resembling work uniform, but he looked SUPER hot dressed down today. "How have you been?" He asked, ruffling my hair slightly, smiling. I looked down at myself and full on blushed. I bet my nose was bright red, like that stupid Christmas reindeer. All I had on were booty shorts and a saggy green sweater. I blushed even more when I realized my shoulders were showing. "Good.." I smiled, brushing my bangs away from my eyes, but they immediately fell back into place. "Let me take that." Deichi smiled and took the bags from me. "They look super heavy." He smiled again. Damn that smile! My arms quickly found their way to my neck, where I nervously balled my hands together and looked down. He should know my habits by now. "Come on." He nudged my side with his elbow and we started to walk, my hair bouncing off my back as we went on our way, hands behind my head as I tried to act natural. The rain had slowed to a light drizzle, but I still had my umbrella in hand. "So......." I mumbled. Deichi continued to move ahead, the streets were leading to my place. "Well I figured I'd take you home, since it IS a long walk and all." His words were so polite and I DID enjoy his company, so I let him carry the stuff. Besides, we had never been left alone after again after he turned thirteen. "And I /do/ happen to live next door, so it's not out of the way." He added to the end, making it sound like a chore to walk me home. /THANKS/ Deichi, for making me feel like a bother! `~~~ After about ten minutes of walking in silence, it started to down pour. We were quickly drenched. I hated being wet in my clothes. Okay get it straight Ko girl, I despised it; like trying to give a cat a bath! Deichi grabbed a hold of my arm and we made a b-line for the nearest shelter, which happened to be a phone booth. Great, like I need to be that close to him. We both squeezed inside, and my heart stopped. Deichi was so close to me right now. I looked up and we were nose to nose, the bags were being squished as he held them up. His free hand was shoved into his pocket and I blushed, beet red, as I realized my boobs were conveniently pressed to his chest. He looked down and smiled as well. I could see my reflection in the glass and noticed that I was a mess. "You look fine." Deichi chuckled. He must of noticed how I was looking at myself in the reflection. Ya..okay I looked like a rat had lived in my hair for 6 months! But all I could say was "Ya..." Lighting flashed through the darkened sky, thundering booming all around us and I jumped, boobs pressing up against Deichi more. He caught me in his arms. That warm feeling of butterflies ricocheted through my body. Damn it! I could hear it now..Tenshi and Akuma screaming HORNY in my face.. Then, because I don't really remember much else, I felt his lips press against mine. Slowly at first, then strongly. I wrapped my arms around him, the grocery bags dropping to our feet. Eventually, his tongue made its way into my mouth. It was the best kiss I had ever had. And the only one I'd ever get... It could of lasted forever, but I imagined it was realistically only a minute or two. When our mouths finally separated, the booth was slightly steamed up and we were both gasping for breath. His eyes sparkled and I put my head to his chest. A rainbow slowly stretched outside from horizon to horizon as the storm slowed to a halt- and it was the most beautiful thing I had ever experienced. |
