Just a world based on my own imagination. Any input on it would be nice =]
The Continent of Nirvadalle

The 7 Ruling powers of Nirvadalle:

- Isadara: The frozen country of the north ruled by the Ice Queen Isabel and her 4 daughters known to be most beautiful on the continent.

- Mal' Chez: The south-western country of Nirvadalle mostly covered by the Great Desert Sadug. Ruled by the Warrior King Aslof.

- Brondondir: The mountainous western region of Nirvadalle known for its towering cities. Ruled by the Sky King Orin.

- Avidoll: The southern island pirate nation of Nirvadalle. Though each island is ruled by a different head pirate they all sail under the banner of the mysterious Pirate Queen Maya who has never been known or seen by record.

- Shiden: Central Power based in the great plains of Nirvadalle. It is the main trading market and commerce for the other powers and within it's territory the Old Sage King Amondol enforces absolute Peace within its borders.

- Erdil: Smallest of all the powers it isolates it's territories from all the others. Known for it's astounding elite army none has been able to ever gone beyond its borders despite them being so small. Ruled by the Silent King Zedulf.

-Tzechmant: The rising empire of the East that all grow wary off because of it's increase of power of late. Ruled by it's emporer Celost.

6 Most influential Guilds/Factions of Nirvadalle

Common Swords - The largest Mercenary Faction based in the West. Known for its large influence in the West and its large quantity of members they are easily one of the strongest factions in Nirvadalle.

Mage Blades - Private Mage Contractors who specialize in magical arms and armor. Not really interested in magic itself this guild search for very powerful artifacts and usually contract themselves to a provider of such magical devices and weapons.

Soul Faction - A mysterious guild of the Elite among Elites. Men or Women who have been especially gifted with summoning forth a soul weapon that fit their fighting style the best. Though only a few members exist they have a hand in almost every major event in Nirvadalle.

University of Sages - The Largest Magical Institution in all of Nirvadalle based in Shiden. It trains and further empowers gifted men and women with the magical gift. They often are at odds with the Mage Blades over magical artifacts they want to research or to seal away.

Night Hawks - A rumored underground guild that is believed to control all other underground societies. Ruled by assassins, night stalkers, and thieves this guild is notorious for unexplainable events or assassinations that occur all over Nirvadalle.

Merchants Guild - The most influential guild of Nirvadalle seeing that they are the only known guild to have successfully based themselves in all the 7 territories of Nirvadalle including Erdil's.

Isadara

The frozen land of the north terrorized by the Frost Wraith the soar the skies freezing the air it breathes on. The Ice Queen has offered her youngest daughter Remedy to any champion who has defeated the Great Frost Wraith as for they have yet to see Spring for 5 years. Her oldest daughter Merideth married to the Thane of Brondondir is desperately trying to convince the Sky King to send aid while her 2nd eldest daughter Riley has gone missing as she went herself to slay the wraith herself. The third daughter Undine lays sick in bed in the medical ward of the ice palace and the mage healers say its because the wraith has cursed her blood vessels with ice and by the age of 20 she will die. The youngest dauther Remedy although unhappy that she will be married of to some random champion if he were to slay the wraith would do anything for her elder sister Undine and so awaits the day when the accursed wraith is killed with her mother. So far no champion has succeeded and as each champion don't return the queen falls in dispair.

The Common Swords have no influence here

The Queen is known to have contracted some Mage Blades despite the warning of her own archmage Rambulf to slay the Wraith in return for the famous Blade of Snow, the palace treasure. As well as planning out how they will take out the wraith unbeknown to the queen half the casualties of the champions sent out to kill the wraith were caused by them as they want the ancient blade and will not let anything take away their prize.

The Soul Faction is believed to have sent an investigator in the area though with strict orders not to interfere with the territories problems but rather to investigate the Mage Blades doings there with the help of the University of Sages. The agent is currently unknown.

The University has the largest influence here as magic is what keeps the cold away from the major cities and towns of Isadara. With Great distaste for the Mage Blades currently in the area their has been an icy cold war between the two within the territory.

Night Hawks have not been heard to be active to much in the area.

The Merchants Guild has had trouble doing business as off late because of this whole wraith business and the fued between the Mage Blades and the University of Sages. Despite that they managed to somehow set shop and hire whoever they can to protect from the frosted weather on their travels there and to other territories.

Mal' Chez

Aslof though Warrior King of this desert territory and known to be the most barbaric of all the rulers would rather leave the throne and go back to his younger days of pillaging rather then try to bring order to his land. Desert Raiders on land and the Pirates of Avidoll looting from his cities in the south and the merchant's guild on strike driving him insane with politics. Not to mention the increase of mages in his territory and well as a warrior he hates mages. He hires many mercenaries from the Common Sword to keep the peace but even them at times seem to be overwhelmed by the countries crisis of lack of everything. Riots break out everywhere and Aslof is looking for help anywhere he can find not being a man of politics he is often coming to hard on those he ask for help. Amongst the palace though he is well-respected because despite his violent tendecies and brash manner he is a man of soft nature and tries his hardest despite his failures in ruling his people. His son on the other hand Fargus seems to have other plans for the territory.

The Common Swords in this territory are the kings private army that are trying to quiet all rebellions, stop the pirates, and help the king in anyway. They sympathize with the king though once payments for them stop they will abandon the king as they are just lowly mercenaries. They are the only thing that keep the citizens from openly overthrowing the king as throughout the western lands they are respected.

Mage Blades have been seen snooping in the area although their intentions are yet clear.

The Thane of Aslof, Dir, is a member of the Soul Faction to help the king in maintaining his land. He worries for the fate of this territory greatly and has fended off many powerful assassins after the king. He is respected by the citizens and by the assassins themselves who confront him.

The University of Sages have very little influence here although they are trying to create a new establisment in the land. They are hated and shunned by the common people and having to be catious when out in public they pester the king for protection in return for helping the king with his problems despite the kings great distaste for them.

The Night Hawks although secret have a small base in the capital. They get many jobs of assassinations mainly towards the king though because of the thane they've yet to be successful. They are the other faction with a large influence in this area as they are the major cause of the riots and getting the pirates to loot the beach cities of Mal' Chez. It is rumored one of the 3 Dark Hawk Lords, leaders of Night Hawk, currently resides on this territory.

The Merchants guild is unsatisfied with the territory here and most merchants that are stationed here are on strike and won't sell their wares to the king. Terrified of the pirates and the land raiders and all the riots that have been happenning they're just looking out for their own goods.

Brondondir

The High King Orin has lead his territory into a new golden age in its history as he watched and help his cities rise from the ground and tower to the skies. A proud man who revels in his own creation. He is pestered by his thane's wife Merideth to send aid to the north to vanquish the Great Frost Wraith although he does not want to meddle with other territories affairs. He had given Merideth to his thane as a reward for his service instead of marrying the beauty himself and he was greatful now that he had. No his worries are for his younger brother in the south of his territory Aslof who seems to be having trouble with his land. It was he Orin who had appointed his brother there for his brother's great warrior deeds in the younger days and for saving his life from the eastern empire single-handedly in the Old Wars. He had tried sendin caravans to help relieve him but reports of his caravan keep mysteriously disappearing once they reach the desert territory, including his only son Jusiph who had volunteered to help his uncle himself. The only news he gets are from the Common Swords under his banner who travel in secret back and forth from the border of the two lands.

As King Orin is also the leader of the Common Swords they are more like the territories soldiers rather then mercenaries in this region. As they bring protection they also provide profit from other territories that they are based in. Lately the majority of them have been sent to aid Orin's brother in the south. The Thane of Brondondir is the main recruiter for the Common Swords though he's been occupied by his wife complaints of her homeland and sadly he finds himself in love with her.

Mage Blades are exiled from this land for their betrayal in the Old Wars in which had cause the King to be captured by the Eastern Empire in return for some magical artifact which is now in the vaults of the palace.

Soul Faction are not heard to be in the area. If they were they have yet to do anything.

The University because of the Mage Blades are very limited here because of the kings distrust in magic users. Though allowed to make base there not many, even those gifted, apply in fear of being shunned by everyone else.

The Night Hawks have little influence here and seem to be in service for the Mage Blades in this territory. Though they have yet to make any big moves as of late.

The merchants guild is bustling with activity here as the cities grow so do they.

Avidoll

As they Loot the southern territories and themselves they are a merry crew of bandits, pirates, and murderers. Most infamous captains though led by the mysterious Pirate Queen Maya believed to be one of the Dark Hawks of the Night Hawks. Maya wants to increase the amount of territory they can loot and not just the southern coast but complete control of all bodies of water including the far north. She employs 5 Death Pirate Captains to keep things in order between the different pirate factions on her territory. She is feared and revered by all even to those who only believe her to be a rumor.

There is a small common sword base here although they've been having trouble with the pirates as they are here under the sky kings and warrior kings order to stop the looting in their territory.

The Mage Blades can be seen here trading with pirates for artifacts of all kinds and providing services to nobles that live on the islands. They coordinate with the 5 Death Pirate captains are given safe haven within the countries borders.

There are numorous Soul Faction Agents throughout the different islands all in search for the Queen of Pirates though none have been successful. Disguising themselves as pirates it's hard to tell who they really are. It's rumored one of the Death Pirate Captains is a Soul Faction Agent gone rogue.

As some mages are turned pirate the University has some influence here despite the numorous Mage Blade occupants that exist on the islands. The University here is run by Pirate Archmage Shulof who trains his mages to be pirates in secret from the other universities.

The Night Hawks are the most influential guild here and their Queen is believed to be one of its 3 leaders.

The Merchants guild are continuesly harassed in this region their shipments always raided by pirates. The guild is considering giving up setting shop here.

Shiden

A place with an iron-fist on keeping the peace it is ruled by the old sage king Amondol. Because of his age the citizens worry about the succession of the throne. Most want it to be the Head of the University of Sages and brother of the King, Beolt. Beolt on the other hand wants nothing to do with the throne and prefers teaching magic to the younger generation. Beolt's son on the other hand Gerd wants to succeed the throne himself and set the country into a new direction instead of peace with all the magical power the city empowers itself. The Thanes of Shiden, Cecilia, openly is against Gerd being ruler and is feared would cause a revolt against Gerd if he were to take the throne. The death of Amondol and people are starting to get restless.

The Common Swords roam the area looking to be hired.

The Mage Blades roam the lands though giving a wide berth to the Main University of Sages in the capital.

An agent of the Soul Faction was sent to Shiden because of growing concerns of the power struggle happenning within the palace. He is waiting on the outcome of who has the throne before he/she can do anything.

The Main University recruits here and they have the largest influence in this territory as the main archmage Beolt lives here. Every 3 years the 7 archmages would meet at the council chambers of the university to report their progress in each territory. Rambulf of Isadara, Torda of Maz' Chez, Zezul of Brondondir, Shulof of Avidoll, Beolt of Shiden, Alice of Tzechmant, and the traveling archmage Horvick.

Oddly the Night Hawks are not even rumored to be in this area as some believe they have a certain respect for the Old Sage King though some citizens believe once he's gone an invasion of that guld may occur. Cecilia the thane is believed to have contracted an assassin in case Gerd is appointed king.

The Merchants guild thrives here as this territory for commerce and trade. Like the citizens they worry of the trancision of rulers and how it would affect their hold there.

Erdil

Ruled by the Silent King Zedulf a mysterious man to all outside his realm. He has closed his gates to all outsiders but the merchants guild. It is believed the main base of the Soul Faction exist in the territory but it is unconfirmed. It is said any man/woman from Erdil that ventures out was a warrior of unsurpassed skill and to challenge one would be the greatest honor of any warrior. They don't tolerate being invaded at all and despite being small repelled and destroyed part of the Eastern Empires Expansion with it.

The Common Swords don't exist here

The Mage Blades don't exist here

Believed to be the Soul Factions main headquarters lead by a mysterious woman known as 'Mother'.

All attempts to build a university in this territory has failed though the archmage Horvick is sometimes an honored guest.

Night Hawks have yet to infiltrate this small territory

The Merchants guild pride themselves as the only guild allowed in and out of the territory and they protect this honor with the highest priority as to not lose the honor.

Tzechmant

The Growing Power in the East also know as the Eastern Empire ruled by Emperor Celest. He and his many princes have lead many campaigns against the country of Nirvadalle though in every war been repelled by the ruling powers that exist especcially Erdil. The Emperor grows impatient with the campaign and is in a momentary truce with the land as he takes his time to plot what he should do next. It's been 6 years since the old wars and most other territories have lowered their guard. Reports have been said he had reinstated his war council for mabye another Great War with the land.

The Common Swords profit from this land as they are hired often by the Eastern imperials for odd jobs around their land.

The Mage Blades main Headquarters exist here as they are from the East. The Emperor has hired a numorous amount of them to seek out various magical objects in exchange for some of his own and holds a private army of Mage Blades known as the Emperor's Hand.

The University is allowed on this territory as long as they pay rent for the land they use. They are though honored guest and respected even by some Mage Blades in this territory and are the major source of magic in the land. One of the princes is quite taken by how young the Archmage Alice is and continuosly proposes to her.

The Night Hawks keep in secret in this area as they despise the empire themselves. The last of the three Dark Hawks has infiltrated the empires war council just waiting for the signal to 'take care of the emperor'.

The Merchants guild sell and buy from here though some merchants here are secretly joined up with the Night Hawks providing information to other territories.
