An Adventure Gone Bad

Once, there was a finishing school for elite class girls in Paris. The girls were taught etiquettes, schooled from the first grade till they reached the age to go to college. The headmistress was a middle aged woman, who ordered strict discipline in her school and did not tolerate any nonsense at all.
The headmistress used to plan trips every year for the girls to visit prominent universities .Which were meant for educational and recreation purposes.
Once they planned a trip to visit an old educational institute in Germany.
They stayed in the nearby Inn. The girls were under strict instructions not to leave the Inn after 9:00p.m. But, some adventurous girls did not pay heed to this warning, and left the Inn after midnight, on their very first night of their visit.
They had planned to explore the university on their own. They walked around the gardens, the lower halls and the classrooms. While they were returning back to their Inn, they saw light in one of the upper floors. They considered exploring that as well. Upon reaching, they saw a group of girls practicing some sort of a play, still in their school uniforms. After the customary greetings, the group told them that they are preparing for an upcoming play. It was a scene from Shakespeare’s “Hamlet”. They said that they would be permitted to see the play only on one condition, which was that they would not say a word about their practice as it was a surprise. And of course the girls agreed.
Both the performers and the visitors enjoyed themselves thoroughly throughout the night. They excused themselves just before dawn as they were very tired and promised to see the practice the next night as well.
When the girls reached their Inn, the headmistress had already found out about their little escapade. And they got a good scolding. The girls admitted the whole story of their adventure.
Upon inquiry, they found out that the upper floor of the university was bombed in the WW II, and found the dead bodies of the school girls still in their school uniforms.
