Excerpt from A History of Humanity,Volume 7, "A commentary on Recent Times"
    …Now as to why we arrived so suddenly (relatively speaking of course) in the midst of a brutal civil war between humanities? To answer that question, we shall travel back to the beginning of the modern era. In the early 2000’s the moral decay and several other contributing factors, led to a race wide quest for pleasure. This lust for comfort fueled greed, mistrust and conspiracy, but prosperity and peace on the surface. As the nations of the earth formed a revolutionary new government, the first trade union where money was everything! “You can have anything in this world, as long as you’ve got money…” became the mantra of society. However the methods to acquire the widespread wealth left the earth burnt out and around 2439 naturally being human, we thought we could run from our problems. As time progressed the departments of the government, influence and beaurecratic corruption reached catastrophic levels. Colliding egos and issues threatened to end the centuries of peace, built on a house of cards. And then it happened the first conflicts broke out between the Classic Capitalist world of guns and money,(The Departments of Commerce, and Martial Endeavors) and The Departments of Environmental Issues and Human Resource.  The Good News, to play on words The Department of Clandestine Affairs and Communications Departments (CACD) did as it always had, it remained decidedly neutral, except for defending its assets and worlds.
    As things escalated, as centuries rolled on generations died in weeks, super weapon, after super weapon. World after world left barren or burnt,  started  slowly  to drain the feuding alliances of tech, of ships, of men. And most importantly they had forgotten what it was that they were fighting for”
