Just Follow your Heart

On first glimpse you would wonder oh common! it has become a fashion statment made by every person right from celebrities to all the eminent personalities around the world. First answer from me yes of course it is, and its the time instead of just listening we just give it a more deeper thought. What do we exactly mean by following our heart? Yes, you are right it means follow the inner voice, follow your intuitions. But for me, whenever I try to listen to my inner voice I am more confused, more irritated as I hear not one but many voices. How can I determine which one is of my heart, also if I listen to my heart always does it mean I will always be succesful?? I will always be on the brighter side of the story? So is it like a magical formulae? I haven't found the answer yet. But one deeper probing I have been able to know why I am able to listen so many voices.

Our Heart is a very stubborn creature. It has its ways to make you listen its voices. But the only and the most important criteria is that we should feel connected to our self, we should have the capability to listen to that one voice. Most of us would not or just tend to ignore. The variuos voices which are able to hear is the product of our logical mind. As there are number of ways to derive a specific formalue, logical mind also decides a goal and then presents various ways to reach it. This is where the main difference lies. The heart has one and only one voice irrespective of goal. I am not saying the logical mind is at fault, but just follow your heart and harness all the energies of logical mind towards it.

Some intelligent friends of mine will ask" Does that mean that if we follow our heart, we will always be succesful?" and that " If we don not follow our heart we will always be unsuccesfull?". Life is not about Black and White. It comes with its shades of Gray. It is simple, if you do what you want you would naturally never feel drained out. Have you ever felt drained out or bored while playing one of your favourite games? You can withstand hours of pain and agony and for that matter it is not even pain for you at that moment. It is the feeling of sheer ecsatsy and joy! Naturally if you give your 100% the chances of failure will be rare. But for the second question that what if we do not follow our heart, does that mean we will be unsuccesful? Well it is not neccesary.The Fact is that you may be succesful following both ways. Then what is the difference you woul ask. Let me explain through an example. Suppose you have performed a sexual act with a prostitute and your girlfriend. The purpose is same. The purpose of Sex has been achieved. But there lies a difference. In the same way the success which you will achieve through following your heart will give you feeling of oneness, feeling of belonging. You will be not happy merely because you were succesful but because you followed your heart.
