Book Editor/Book Editing Services - Proofreading, Writing Reviews, Critiques and more
Before self-publishing or submitting to a book agent / editor, I knew that my book needed editing. Sure, I'm a great writer, but I couldn't chance having any mistakes.

So I searched the internet to find professional editing services that I could afford. There are thousands of freelancers out there. The prices were all over the map. I was worried that I would spend my money and end up with a very basic edit or worse - nothing!

During my search, I landed on www.professional-book-editors.com which is a blog offering some pretty good info. It's not updated often enough, but what info they had sounded good. I checked out some of the editors there.

Finally, I checked into www.FirstEditing.com and www.Book-Editing-Services.com. Both of these COMPANIES had Satisfaction Guarantees and good standing with the Better Business Bureau. That made me feel a bit more confident.

I submitted my writing to both companies for a free editing sample. They were fast and good. In the end, I chose www.FirstEditing.com because they actually CALLED ME and answered all my questions. No problem!

Now, my editing is done and I am in contact with some agents!

I just wanted to share my experience with other writers / authors who are also looking for some book editing help.
