Could a demon actually end up falling in love? Well, maybe. NiiroxMurmur (NiiMur)
Murmur's Morning:
Soft snoring echo'd through the white-washed, yet red splattered, walls of their room. Well, a certain albino demon's room, to be exact. Murmur was fast asleep, curled up on the couch like a kitten after a warm bowl of milk. His white, fluffy hair strewn out behind his head on that maroon pillow, glasses crooked and obviously forgotten about after the previous night. Giving a soft grumble, the usually heavy-sleeper awoke from his dreams before it dawned on him that yet another of his cats had passed on. Rubbing his eyes gently, he picked up the black and white furred carcass before hugging it gently, not caring if his pure white shirt got as bloodied as the walls. A lot of animals had died in this room, most of them being cats, excluding his raven, Whisper, who was killed by one of those cats.

Once finished with his cuddling, he just placed the body into a small box and buried it with the rest of them, muttering a soft something before heading back inside. After he had finished with his moment, he wiped those red eyes of his before lying back down, resuming the same position as before. Murmur hated losing pets, especially of the feline variety, and, after all, he may as well get some sleep since his cousin/half-brother would be stopping by. Letting himself slip into a slumber once again, the demon just poked his tongue out subconsciously and completed that feline-like image.

Niiro's Morning:
Running a scaled hand through that vibrant red hair, the koi-like demon just smirked at himself in the mirror, examining those shark teeth before deeming himself ready. He had known that his cousin/half-brother's cat had died during the night and decided to take him another pet, one that wouldn't die as quickly. A purple cat-carrier sat beside his couch, two emerald eyes staring out of it, almost as if it were glaring at passers by. Niiro had deemed the pet perfect for his relative, it's silky black fur contrasted that of Murmur's hair and the red collar gave that aura of darkness, even if the bell on the end made the feline seem somewhat less intimidating.

Picking up said cat-carrier in one hand, Niiro just looked into it and smiled that crooked smile of his, "Well, Salem, looks like you're going to meet your new owner today. Be nice to him. If I find one scratch on his body, you're not going to see it to the morning, got it?" He practically spat, making the cat just scoot closer to the back of the cage and making the demon stand with a triumphant smirk, "Good, looks like we understand each other." The red-head chuckled before setting off to his feline-loving relative's home, where he knew that the albino would be asleep after using all of his energy up, whimpering over his dead cat.

Their Morning:
A few minutes of walking later, the koi smirked and tapped on the door gently, waiting for all of 10 seconds before letting himself in. Niiro couldn't help his blackened heart from fluttering at the sight of the albino on the couch, fast asleep and looking as cute as a demon could. Gulping, he quickly composed himself before setting the carrier down, opening it slowly to let the feline out. Salem immediately ran out and jumped onto that bloodied yet still white shirt, nuzzling into it as the feline seemed to glare at the fish-demon.

Giving another soft sigh, his heart skipped a beat as he kneels down beside his cousin/step-brother, brushing a stray strand of hair out of that pale and soft featured face, trying not to wake the albino. Smiling, not smirking nor grinning, but a genuinely smiling, as if he were content for the first time in his life (eternal-damnation?), he leaned forward and pecked the smaller demon's forehead, then the cheek, then gently on those soft lips before blushing a little and standing up. "I'll see you soon, love." Niiro muttered softly before writing a note, leaving it on the coffee table and leaving as quietly as possible.

Later on:
Murmur awoke around lunch time, still a little dazed as he sat up and sorted out that mess of white hair, eyes still half-closed. Purring softly, the albino couldn't help but notice a strange warmth on his lap, something which could only mean that, "A cat?" He asked himself before stroking it's ebony fur from head to tail, smiling softly at the purrs. Leaning back a little, the feline still on his lap, Murmur just stretched himself out and set a hand on his coffee table, red eyes automatically looking over to the piece of paper in that clawed hand of his. Murmur just looked at the note briefly and brought it over to himself, recognising the handwriting straight away.
'Dearest Murmur,
Sorry for the loss of another one of your cats but I hope you like this new one. He's called Salem. He doesn't need as much food or water as the other cats since he's part demon himself but you still need to look after him. Don't kill this one!
-Love, Niiro.'

The albino couldn't help himself when he blushed and held the note to his chest, wondering if he were actually falling for his own relative before dismissing the thought with a shake of his head, "No... He'd never go for a guy like me..." The demon sighed softly before lying on his side and cuddling up with his new cat, slipping into a quiet slumber for the third time that day, his dreams plagued by that koi and the feel of those scaled yet smooth lips on his own, making him subconsciously wonder where he'd felt them in the first place.
