The story of how Marc West and Skye Jacobs meet, and fall in love.
"Skye. I love you." was the last thing he said to me. Those were the last words that Marc West, the love of my life, said to me, today, exactly three years ago. After that, we never spoke again. I didn't know what happened; it was all a blur, really. I don't know why we stopped speaking. I know. It probably seems like I have no idea what went wrong, but I do know the story, and how I was feeling. So, here you go. This is my story.

It all started when my parents were around, and I was about ten years old. Marc and I met through our parents, because they were pretty good friends. They would have bible studies together, while Marc, and I would sit around playing games, watching television, and listening to music together. "Marc, change the channel." I'd whine. He flash me a smile, and I'd giggle, whilst punching him playfully. After growing out of hanging out inside, we reached the seventh grade a few years later. We started to gain a 'thing', and we'd hang out in large groups. But even in those groups, we'd walk next to each other, chatting, and cracking jokes every once in a while. "Ooh, Skye and Marc!" My friend Caroline would yell. Marc would look down, and I'd blush. Next, eighth grade came. Which was when things began to become more serious. We would go out in big groups, still, and walk next to each other, like we always did. But that time, he took my hand. I looked at our connecting hands, and smiled. I loved his confidence. I loved how he wasn't afraid to take chances. At the end of the night, we went on a walk. Just the two of us, alone. "Skye, we've been friends," he started. I looked up at him. "We've been friends for years, and I'm ready to.." He couldn't finish. He was choked up. So I decided to finish for him. Leaning towards him, and going on my tippy-toes, I kissed him. I kissed him long, and gently. When we finally pulled away, all he could say was, "S-Skye..Skye, I love you."

We were a couple from then on. We were together for years, until he just left. He left without a warning, or a word. Not a letter, not a text, and not a call.

He didn't have enough heart to tell me why he was leaving, when he was coming back, or if he truly did love me.

Until today. Three painful, long years later, we meet.
