Little did the rabbit know he would be stuck in such a fairytale
The rabbit jiggled and wiggled its smallish sized nose, and with a small leap, headed towards the forest once again. All the little creature remembered was being chased by a fox, and falling down a hole. Waking up in a tree trunk, he had climbed out from a broken end, and stared into a world unknown. This forest was silent, dark, and shadowed, while his was green, open, and sunny. There were whispers instead of rustles, and the trees loomed over him, instead of smiling, and swaying. The little rabbit had ran, well jumped, as fast as he could, trying to get away from this dark world. He had stumbled out of the forest and into a green, grassy field. Looking around he saw there was absolutely nothing for yard and yards, other then the forest behind of him. There was nowhere for the little rabbit to go, and deciding his best option was to head back towards where he had entered, he started to jump towards the forest. Suddenly, he heard a cry out in the meadow. Though he couldn't see anything, he knew someone was there, a girl, judging by the squeal. He hated to leave the only chance of getting home again, but the whispers of the trees were not tempting.
"Oh, please! Will someone, please help me!" cried a girl, no older then fifteen. Her and her horse were caught in a ring of wolves, their foaming muzzles, and beady eyes like death itself. She backed towards her horse, who neighed and kicked towards the wolves, but to no avail. She should have stayed at home, she thought, as the wolves slowly started getting closer. I knew running away was going to be like this. I'm sorry Mom. Closing her eyes, she screamed one last time as a wolf charged towards her; but the claws she expected to rip into her flesh didn't come, only a mangled cry from the creature, and a cloud of dust as something started killing the beasts. Blood covered the dirt road, and as she slowly opened her eyes, she saw the most handsome man she knew she would ever see. He was not much older than herself, with jet black hair, shaggy yet attractive. He was slender with muscle, and his piercing green eyes were breathtaking.
"T-thank you." she felt her face grow hot, and her eyes couldn't meet his eyes. Touching his eyes, his ears, his face, and everything on his body, he franticly looked around.
"What's happening? How am I a human?"
