I have a new man in my life, someone I have only dreamed of ever knowing.

Refuge

My world
utter chaos
you enter
We exchange
details
We share
common threads
woven
between us
Feels as if I have
known you
before
my life
fell apart at her seams
I tell you I cry
you listen
I long to let go
you hear
You say
I open my heart
Your tears
I see
We both know
Time has passed
now
Frightened we both
to call our coupling
new love
Our past ghosts
won't allow us
such whim
If not love
what holds us
Refuge you say
my dear
