The Beautiful Painting

You say that I painted such a beautiful picture.
It is amazing you already think the painting is so beautiful.
The beauty you have been so quick to find is part of your own creation.
I have only painted a couple of strokes.
But yet you are trying to find the flaws that don’t exist yet.
You failed to appreciate that a masterpiece is never done.
Just image what it would look like if we worked it together.
There will be flaws, but those flaws will be worked on together.
Not left alone to detract from the overall beauty.
The painting you imagine is a work of art that is always in progress,
And there should never just one painter.
You need to ask if both artists truly want to make a beautiful painting.

I honestly believe that if started to paint a picture together,
It would rival any work that Michelangelo could have created.
