God’s Random Number Theory
God’s Random Number Theory

Question:-
Swamijee,
God created everything and also me. He knows whether I will go to Heaven or Hell. Why should He create me and make me suffer if He already knows I am destined to go to Hell.

Swami amalrajee:-
My guess is God does not know whether You will go to Heaven or Hell. But as per all the religions, He very much wants you to lead a good life and return to Heaven.
Consider this:
An engineer makes a scientific calculator. The engineer knows everything about the functions of all the buttons in that calculator. He can calculate manually and tell what the result and display in the screen will be, when a particular button in that calculator is pressed since he is the creator of that calculator. But, even he does not know about the result of a particular button in that calculator when it is pressed. That is the Random Number button. The calculator will display a different number randomly every time the Random Number button is pressed and even the creator of that calculator could not calculate and tell the outcome, since producing random numbers depends on a lot of factors. The engineer has made that particular button like that. God has also created you like that. He has created you with a free will. He has taught you through your religion (if you do not have any religion to follow, that is your bad luck) and your common sense that what are the things you should do to reach Heaven, and what are the things you should not do, not to end in Hell. It is up to you to end in Heaven or Hell. That is His game.
You may wonder, how it was possible for God to create you and could not foresee your end while He was creating you.
It may be like this:
After God creating a person with a free will, He may know his/her end immediately. However, a very small time, which may be a tiny fraction of a second for Him, will pass between creating a man/woman and knowing his/her end. That tiny fraction of a second for God may be the sixty or eighty years of his/her life span in this world. Millions and billions of years in our universe is a fraction of a second for God.
So where ever you are and what ever you are doing you have the option to lead a life of your liking and at last end in Heaven or Hell.
But God knows only a fraction of the people created will make it to Heaven. (Read 2 Esdras 8:1-3 )
Hope we will also get ourselves included in that fraction and end in Heaven.
