Angel Dust

Her tasseled wings fluttered wildly, as she flew over my gurney that day,
Frantically ,she waved her wand spraying her gold dust my way,

Suddenly, I felt peaceful and dozed off in the bed, and
then the angel kissed my cheek and this is what she said:

"Now it's time to go to sleep, relax, don't worry and pray,
when you wake up from your sweet dreams it will be a brand new day,

Having brain surgery really sucks and you'll have a big crack in your head,
although, when you see it you won't give a damn, because you'll know that you could have been dead!

You'll also laugh and talk a lot and act like your insane,
but you WILL be able to SEE and HEAR and be thrilled to FEEL your pain!

It's my job to perk you up and to keep you from flipping out,
so when you start feeling depressed or scared, just look upward and SHOUT!

Hey little angel get your ASS (I mean wand) down here and wave away my fright,
and bring your fluffy pillow so that you can stay all night,

And I'll be there in a jiffy to drive away your fears , I'll even bring some Kleenex
to wipe away your tears,

I'm a guardian angel and I've been assigned to you, to help you to keep your sense of humor
and a POSITIVE POINT OF VIEW"!
