Party of Our Lives

Life isn't easy
It doesn't come with instructions
Even though it would make it a lot easier
That way we know what's to come of us
What career we're meant to have
Who we're going to spend the rest of our lives with
Where, when, and why it's going to happen
Almost forgot the most important detail
How it's going to happen
All would be planned
Every event until we lay in our death beds
All we'd have to do is wait for it to happen
But where would the surprise be in life?
Life is like a surprise party
In every way
From beginning of the party to the end
First, everyone is united for the arrival of a special guest
Once he or she arrives
Everyone surrounds them with love and friendship
Getting to know everyone is only half the fun
Sure they might get along with all of them
No one gets along with everyone
But the point is they tried
When eating the goodies
Looking for that certain treat thats enjoyed the most
Once it's found they can't get enough of it
It's their favorite goody for life
Every gift that is given is a surprise
It can be meaningful, useful, or life changing
After retrieving those special gifts
Everything is done
There's nothing left to do
Everyone’s had their fun
Guests leave one by one
Going their own ways
The later the party ends
The more tired the special guest is
Once everyone is gone
All that's left is the mess
Because of the exhaustion
Someone is there to help out
With team work anything can be accomplished
The mess is clean
Both people satisfied
Time to rest
Because the party is over
Before entering the room
They look back
Remember their favorite parts of the party
Take a huge breath
Laugh and Smile
Life is like a surprise party
We make the best of it
Out of our party
When our party is over
We just look back
