There are many types of Western movie heros. Here are some of the generic ones. What one is your favorite?
1.The John Wayne Type. The guy shows up to fight against some powerful family, or corrupt lawman or some such thing, to free the town from their tyranny. Examples: "Rio Lobo", "Rio Bravo", and "El Dorado"
2. The Clint Eastwood Type. The guy fights primarily for revenge or for money, or for some other personal reason, which may or may not involve helping out a town or two. Examples: "A Fistful of Dollars", "For a few Dollars More", and "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly".
3. Middle of the Road Type. Guy fights both for personal reasons, as well as to help free a town from some corrupt lawman and/or powerful family. Examples: "Silverado" (The four drifters fight for both personal reasons, and to help out the town.) "The Magnificent Seven" (The gunmen fight both for money and to save the town.)
Of course, you might be interested in some other type of Western Hero.
PS. On a Personal note, I like all types of Westerns.
