The five senses come to life in his sad story of betrayal and disturbancy.
A pungent smell arose to the young boy's nostrils. No, the smell wasn’t sweet- it was sour. He breathed deeply, and clogged his nostrils shut. The smell of death swept through his lungs.
The air caressed his body, sweeping up from his feet, up his legs, to his torso and finally to his face. He longed to breathe, his only desire at the moment. But he couldn't.
He refused to breathe the air that reminded him of all he lost.

He couldn't feel, for he was numb- stricken with fear. His muscles were tense and clenched. His fingers were bound into fists and his jaw was tight; grinding his teeth together.
Waves of fear racked his body; shivers of uncertainty ran up his spine. He felt a watery sensation burning behind his eyes.
His shoulders carried the heavy weight of guilt.

The taste in the room was foul. His tongue flapped within his mouth, attempting to rid the awful taste that was soaking into his taste buds.
No success.
He licked his lips. They tasted of pennies and iron. Realization was starting to come to him as he ran his tongue along his teeth; blood-stained teeth.

It was silent, too silent.
Normally, the room would be filled with laughter, most of the time angered voices. Where did they go?

He couldn't take it anymore-he finally opened his eyes. At last he could see.
He had beautiful blue eyes, the color of the ocean- different levels of dark to light blue.
They grazed the walls-once white now stained red.
He raised his hands in front of him as if to block away the sights his eyes were meeting.
'No.' His mind rang in fear.
Hands matched the wall; blood red.
He clenched his eyes shut wishing this could be just another sick, sadistic dream of his. This couldn't be reality. It had to be another dream. IT HAD TO BE.
His mind was racing. Black dots covered his sight as he finally took in the whole scene in front of him-
3 bodies strewn across the floor.

The final of the five senses came to be.
He screamed.
