He let out a small whistle as the woman he was waiting for entered the glass doors of the cheap cafe. He noticed no change in her, she was still lovely as the dawn.
She wasted no time in taking the seat opposite the man she was longing to see. He still looked as ravishing as the last time they saw each other.
They skipped the catching up part.
"I love you," she said.
"You didn't."
"But now I do."
"So, what now?"
"Can you open you heart for me again?"
He let out a dry chuckle. "You know, only an idiot would forgive you for what you did. Didn't anybody ever tell you that breaking someone's heart is bad?"
She forgot to answer as his green eyes bore into her brown ones. She was guilty as charged. She rejected his love ruthlessly when he offered it to her a year ago.
He smirked and suddenly, surprisingly, took her hand which was on the coffee table.
