Another I Moran Poem
If there were justice,
and if things were ‘right’ in the world,
I would tell you, flat out, that you can’t do this to me.
I would tell you that, you see, you have to treat me with kid gloves. Cause I got cheated. No one else, just me.
I got cheated. And you – or someone like you – has to make it up to me.

If there were justice,
you would see this without me even telling you.
You – you have the power. Can’t you see that?

I would have a “D” for “Defective” “Damaged”  - right across my chest. Hmmm – and everyone would see. They would know that they couldn’t’ say mean things to me. They couldn’t’ leave me. They had to love me. They had to stay with me. They had to be dependable. They had to be there for me. Cause I was hurting. I had had quite enough. Or I hadn’t had enough.

If there were justice, and all were fair, I would tell you all of this, and you would oblige. Gladly.
