The Lake Of Stars: Chapter 3

What is happening to us?!" I accedentily yelled. Not only had I transformed, but Karen had too! Then I thought of something. It seemed everyone who thought of something good transformed like this! But only is you looked in the lake while doing it. But so far, only me, Karen and that blonde girl had gone there. I closed my eyes to think for a moment. When I opened my eyes, Karen's new form and I were in my apartment building. I looked in the mirror. Yep. I was still in that pink-haired form. "How am I going to go to school like this?' She shouted in a weired voice. "I guess we'll just say our original forms are sick and we are there coisons to help them work." I said in thet girlish voice. Oh well. I guess I was going to hav eto get used to this.






Karen and I packed our backpacks and left for school. We'd already informed the principle that Shelaina(me) and Karen were sick so we were taking they're places. I can't wait to change back.This girly voice is weird! I thought as we were walking to school. I was thinking too much that I didn't relize that we were already at the school. "Karen" I wispered, "Act all happy. You don't want them to get the idea that we're actally Shelaina and Karen." Karen just nodded. When we stepped into the classroom, There was this big banner that said, "Welcome Replacments!" right in the middle of the room. I guess they really hated us. Everyone started to crowd around. They asked questions like, What's ur name?" or "Where did you come from?" and all sort of questions. Before I even got to answer one, Mr. Coal walked in. "Everyone, quiet down. These two are here to replace Mrs. Kolden and Mrs. Sarahri. The pink-haired one is named Shelly and the purple head is named Kora. Please respect them." said Mr. Coal. I went to my seat. Everything seemed normal. But then I looked next to me. Sora was not there. But someone else was. A guy with lavender hair and red eyes. Then suddenly, a memory flashed back in my head.




The flaskback showed me young wearing lots of girly things. Then it showed a young boy that I was going out with at that time. At the end of the flashback, It showed me spying on the boy I was going out with kissing another girl! Then I opened my eyes, sweating. Everyone was staring at me. "Are you ok?" asked some random girl I didn't know. It oviously ment that my pink-haired form had hidden my usual adittude. Now, I acted all girly! It was hummiliating! I think Karen felt the same way. Then I heard some of the girls talking. "Did you hear? That purple haired guy is Sora's twin coison, Niko! He's even cuter than Sora! I'm going to try and ask him out." they babbled. Was the Kogera family always admired? I thought. It was quiet the oppisote in our family. The Sahari's had always been hated. When I was 8, It was just one of these typical nights where people held up signs eveywhere in front of our house telling us to go away. Well, at least I thought it was a typical night. My mom was making dinner while I was reading all the hate notes from school, as usual. My dad was watching a comady show on tv. Then suddenly, people from our town broke through the window with guns. "If you won't leave, then we're gonna make you leave this earth!" one of the men shouted. Then, he loaded his gun and shot my parents. I watched in horror as they fell to the ground, bleading. I then ran out the broken window and away from the house. Suddenly, I heard footsteps behind me. I looked back and saw them coming after me! It was a good thing I lived near the airport. I ran through the double doors and through the hallway. Still, the town ran after me. People from left and right where staring and gasping. I looked around. Then, I saw a gate. The last of the people were boarding the plane. I started running twoared the closing door. I had made it at the last moment! My running slowed into a fast walk. When I got onto the plane, it was all first class! All the seats were taken exept one next to a boy with purple hair. "May I sit here?" I asked politly. He just nodded. I sat down and fasened my seat belt. "Where are we going?" I said when the plane started to take off. "This plane takes us to Washington state." he said surprised. Good. I thought. It's taking us far away from Florida.
