Trust Love


Why should we trust love,
love may be the grestest feeling in the world,
but it will hurt you in a heart beat,
no matter how much you trust love.
I trusted love once,
and it hit me where it hurt,
knocked me on the ground,
and kicked me while I was down.
I trusted love once,
and now it follows me everywhere,
taunting me hurting me,
and I just want it to leave.
For those of you who trust love,
dont be surprised when it hurts you too,
like an exotic pet turns on its master,
it will rip your heart out and crush it.
Why should we trust love,
it only brings pain and sorrow,
I don't know about you,
but I will never trust love again.
