Sun was shining, clouds like cotton candy
Grass lushing green, the land cool and windy
A bunch of balloons rose out of nowhere
I who was nearby, stopped walking to stare
Brown, yellow, silvery, golden
All competing for attention
Orange and blue, the two opposite colors
The harmony in the contrast, creating splendors
I would not be the black one, that'll absorb too much heat and burst
Nor the red one, who always wants to be the first
Definitely not purple, that considers itself so royal
Or green, who is jealous and unstable
I think, if I could choose in between
I'll be the white one, yet to be seen
Reflecting all the colours like a colourful gem
But never becoming any one of them.
