sad, dark, raw poetry
In a glimpse, fleeting,
scared without remorse.
why fear what's not there.
don't be alone, you won't make it.
evil lurks, like a snake in
backyard wonderlands.
with souls pressed, against the glass
of forgotten dreams.
screaming, banter, amongst
lost children, looking.
wanting solace, from the hell,
of stories of their fathers,
scared without knowledge,
of a life, denied.
touching the souls of those
that pass by the unknown.
feeding off energy that they
have not ever seen.
not for themselves, not ever.
this world of children's lost
souls, everywhere.
unlock the door, to allow
a future.
to allow acceptance of
knowledge.
