lost in though
A soothing bath in the hot tub, full of friends leads to a relaxed time before the T.V.
The relaxed state slowly sinks the sand deep into the crevices of my eyes
Visions should be starting soon, visions of times before, times of pain.
Instead the vision begins with times from before, of happiness.
Mom has invited friends over the fire is lit in the house and everyone is warm and relaxed.
We have sat through two movies already and everyone is ready for another.
I have grown tired, these times were full of sleep, unlike now.
I move myself to my room and lay my head down and immediately fall into a deep slumber.
Time looses its grasp on me and as its hold breaks there is a tug at my comforter.
A quick stretch of the arms and legs and a single eye opens.
It's dark but not dark enough the light of the moon comes through my blinds.
Once the second eye opens I see the color of the rays have changed.
The sound of liquid strikes the blinds and covers the moons only peep hole.
Red rums stench fills now moist air and terror fills every atom of my body.
When I look down to what has been tugging at my feet dark colors hands have lost their life.
My brothers head lay next to his blood drenched hands and the faint sound of his choking on his own blood reverberates through my ear cavity.
The terror has engulfed me now he has returned.
He who has tormented me in dreams past has finally come to close the deal.
He has waited so long to silence me the one who haunts him in his sleep.
He entered my final dream and brought deaths design with him.
His machete, his tool, his weapon, and bringer of death has risen again.
Blood from my sibling forms drops that fall as he raises the blade for the final stroke.
My phone goes off and times grasp clenches down and sweeps me from my old bed.
Friends begin to move and I run to see who has sent me a message.
The time that pulled me from my nightmare has ended everyones interest in the movie on the T.V.
Once again it's time to move and time to get them home.
