The Tether of Infinite Ascension

Climbing up the tether of infinite ascension,
rising through the passageways of yet another dimension.
Shedding pounds of gravity as the earth's desires are left behind,
replaced with an all embracing love put forth by the Universal Mind.
Carnal passions and all the like are burned from proximity to the sun,
transformed into energy, aiding my endeavor, the journey has just begun.
The path being long, narrow, and hard, tired my arms do grow.
I must press on for only death can result from the fall that awaits below.
Through the dark abyss I peer,
thoughts of uncertainty inevitably appear.
Heavenly influx stemming from above,
send me an olive branch in the mouth of a dove.
Reassure me that land is near,
allow me to see that your kingdom is here.
