forgetting how you feel and remembering what you deserve
Why do I still have love
for the one who made me cry?
How could you take everything I had,
and leave me so empty handed?
What was it that made you change?
Or was I left in the dark from the first kiss?

Having more than one girl will never,
I repeat NEVER make you a man.
Having goals and being honest shows maturity.
You're playing a child's game and
accomplishing many things, but
not ever once winning.

Ten years from now you will still be
the bagger boy who has nothing.
Your immaturity hurt the one person,
who would have always been there for you.
Your preteen actions will always
give you pleasure that will be short lived.

I can go on for days explaining
the hurt and pain you caused me.
Instead I will say the words
that I'm sure I will never say to you again.
Thank you
Thank you for all the undeniable hurt you caused.
The endless pain I have felt.

Thank you for reminding me its not always
about the feelings that I have, but
about the qualities I deserve.
Thank you for showing me
that I did not need a boy,
but showing me that I deserve to fall
in love with a real man.
