A story set in the year 2178 where a war is about to break out with aliens
PROLOGUE - THE SPACE ERA

The people of Earth moved forward as a civilisation in the year 2178, moving towards the stars. Space Colonies and Exploration Ships had explored almost every reach of Earth's neighbouring planets and Earth's military force has replaced tanks and jets with mobile assualt units or MAU's.
Three of these MAU's were specially made for certain individuals. The Lyguar was made for General Antonius Holley, who died in the Mars explosion and so the MAU was passed to his son, Major Jack Holley. The Beowulf was made for the president of the Earth council as a last means of protecting Earth. And the Altray was left in the care of General Nickolas Stevenson of the Jupiter Defence Station but noone has ever been able to pilot it.
In 2176, at Space Colony APX-2, research was being conducted into creating an infinite energy source. However, during the first test, the device created a massive surge of power that destroyed APX-2, the moon it was on, and Mars itself. The experiment was then deemed too dangerous and was quickly stopped.
But the energy spike created had drawn something else to this galaxy. While a research team was investigating Pluto, they witnessed thousands of unknown ships pass the planet. These ships later destroyed Pluto and Neptune with no resistance.
The presence of aliens aboard was confirmed after the Jupiter Defense Platform disabled one and took it to Space Colony APR-6. The aliens, or ANG-0 as they were codenamed, took this as an act of war and  sends ships towards Jupiter right now...
