Lifes choices

In the mids of a healing world during the aftermaths of a long and bloody War, two childhood heros of the War are now all grown and married. Both equally in love with the other but due to the violent turn out of the world the husband, the ruler of a powerful country, takes it upon himself to protect his wife at all costs even if it means not letting her leave the palace or confining her to there room every so often. Everytime the subject of this is brought up it always ends in conflict neither giving in. She knows he only wants whats best for her and knows he has reasons far beyond the violent world around them to want to protect her. It has to do with her previous murder 6 year ago.
Desperate for a way out, no matter how painful the consiquences may be, she leaves one night without a trace only a letter explaining her disappearence.
