life,life.

There’s this inexplicable feeling I get sometimes
It feels almost like rays of light are gently exploding, pulsing out of my body from within
Marigold glow
I’m taking baby steps now
Chipping away the tip of the iceberg
Looking for the meaning of life in the pages of my fiction books, people’s faces, song lyrics
Someone has to know more than I do
Everyone seems to know more than I do
It’s like a joke nobody let me in on
But we’re all in the same boat
Aren’t we?

Am I being looked upon from above?
That feeling you can’t place
Out of body experience
Make me believe in something divine
Nothing’s concrete
Blind faith
When I look to the sky
When I look at people truly smiling; I love the look in their radiant eyes
When I look at nature and things that are not manmade
I smile and I dance
I feel so free
It’s all I want
This is all I want
More meaningful times like these to fill my life
It helps me accept that I will die eventually
And this deeply distresses me, but it makes me want to live even more
Harder, better, faster, stronger
I don’t want to leave this place
I appreciate it too much to want to leave it.
