THE SEVEN SINS Young damsel yet unmarried, It’s possible you carried A desire so far in life That you be a happy wife. It’s but axiomatic, A feeling automatic, That if he is unhappy, She can never be happy. So I list now seven sins. You must shun them by all means. Three, don’t deem it a duty To always enhance beauty By all those creams and powders That change only your outers. Four, this you must understand That it is quite a bad trend To give your tears a full flow Before the cause he should know. Five, lady, don’t forget please, Money does not grow on trees. Your spending spree you must stall. You do not have to spend all. Six, while you want beauty praised, Make sure questions are not raised About his power and strength, Which, to humble him, are meant. Seven, while being equal, Let this not be a sequel That your femininity.
