Tulips over Daisies

Daisies or Tulips?
Which would you prefer?
Tulips over Daisies would be the obvious choice.

Tired of the silent winter,
sick of the never ending snow.
Now comes spring with a colorful show.

The Daisies bloom,
Pretty but plain – quite ordinary to say the least.
Then comes the Tulip by its side,
bright and vibrant,
Quite extraordinary when compared.

But while the Daisies seem to fade,
As Tulips take the stage.
Which catches the eye of those pesky awoken squirrels.

Daisies or Tulips?
Tulips over Daisies.
I’d say, would be the most obvious choice.

So what it comes down to,
When faced between Daisies and Tulips;
Sometimes the ordinary can be extraordinary.
