For anyone who has ever been told you can't do something. Success is sweet revenge.
How far will you go in the quest for your dream?
Do they call you a radical, say you’re extreme?
Have they started complaining you’re totally obsessed?
Do they claim to be worried you don’t seem to rest?

Do they give you that look as if they would know,
a better way to get to where you want to go?
Do they mention how working so hard is insane?
Ask why you go through such torture and pain?

Do they not comprehend what you see so clear?
Could it be your success is their genuine fear?
Do they try to convince you of their point of view?
Attempt to place limits on what you can do?

Are you willing to brush all the questions aside?
Is your biggest fear saying, “I wish I had tried?”
If no one has laughed or questioned at all,
it’s then you should know; your dream is too small!

Use what they say as motivation to succeed.
Your conviction will cause them to follow your lead.
The first ones to cheer and applaud will be those,
who thought they knew better, that’s just how it goes.

So, don’t be discouraged, they don’t understand.
Just plan what you do, then do what you planned.
If you believe it enough to carry it through,
you'll do things that "they" couldn't possibly do.
