A poem I wrote in 2004...
Dear Tracee…

Sometimes, I may go about things the wrong way.
Like when I ask you not to go, but please stay.
I don’t care if we argue, but I hate it when we fight.
It’s just hard to keep my mouth shut when I know I’m right.

So, please try not to get mad when I tell you how I feel.
You already know that the love I have for you is real.
It’s just not good to bottle any feelings up inside.
There’s no way that emotions are there for you to hide.

I don’t think it’s fair to hide anything from you.
Not if the love we have for each other is true.
If we meet halfway and work through all this,
There’s so much in life we really won’t miss.
